the irony of a holiday

Going for a holiday to Portugal and hoping to have best of family holiday ever..don't expect too much. On a certain ages a holiday can turn into a boot camp. Means less sleep, can't eat in peace and can't enjoy the serenity. This story is just an satiric of the irony of a holiday and it does not depict the reality of our holiday.  However...can be close enough the satire.

Edition available in English, Indonesian and German. Enjoy.

The Bats

When I was a kid back when I was still living in Bali, I remember our mango tree always got ransacked by the bats shortly before the mango season come.

Now when the kids left apples half uneaten, it always makes me sad too see and also a bad memory recall of my childhood.

Funny, after telling the bats story to the kids, they stopped their bad behavior of leaving half eaten fruits gone wasted. It really works and our fruit stays longer in the fruit bowl. Also give me some chance to have some actually :)

seeing uneaten left over fruits just make me sad.

when the night falls the bats came and ransacked our mango tree. there were non left the next morning

Morning chores

first task, getting them out of the apartment

ended up carrying one and pushing the pram all the way to kindergarten

I think every parent go through it. Some have a chores during meal time, some have chores when bathing them. My chores is bringing two girls to kindergarten everyday. Sometime it works just fine, but when things change...like in this example when she saw a some riding a bike, she immediately wanted the same.

Bathtub Alarm

what are you doing...o.m.g...is that poo

bathtub alarm ....order for immediate evacuation
I guess this happened on 99% of sharing bathtub with your kids (which I won't do it ever again). It happened not only once, but lots of time.

The worst thing one time I found Juno was pooing, her sister jumped out but she still remain inside as nothing has happened......yukeeee
